    Very plush. Double sided - short pile one side and longer on the other. Doesn't feel, or look, like a waterproof blanket, which is good. I bought the large size for my Kelpie, and that's certainly not too large. Don't buy small unless you've a really little dog. It does slip a little on my leather couch, but probably would be better on cloth upholstery. I'm yet to wash it. Recommended for a waterproof blanket.
